## What we collect

Just your email address, plus a small amount of metadata about where you subscribed from (the source tag `therenthacker-landing` and a UTC timestamp). That's it. No name, no phone, no IP, no profile.

## Who handles your email

Our weekly email runs on [MailerLite](https://www.mailerlite.com/legal/privacy-policy), an email-delivery platform. When you subscribe, your email passes through our own request handler and is stored with MailerLite, who delivers each weekly email. They're the data processor, we're the publisher. Their privacy policy covers how your email is stored and protected on their end.

## What we use it for

Delivering your weekly issues to your inbox. Not selling. Not renting. Not used for any other purpose.

One narrow exception: if we run ads on Meta or Reddit, a hashed (one-way, non-reversible) form of your email may be sent to those platforms solely to attribute your subscription back to the ad that brought you here. It's only used for that. Not for targeting, not for ad audiences. See "Cookies and analytics" below.

## How long we keep it

For as long as you're subscribed. Every issue has a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it once and you're gone from the list. If you want your data removed entirely (not just the subscription paused), email us at [danny@therenthacker.com](mailto:danny@therenthacker.com) and we'll delete it from MailerLite within seven days.

## Cookies and analytics

We use **Google Analytics 4** to understand which parts of the page work, and **Meta Pixel** and **Reddit Pixel** to measure the performance of any advertising we run on those platforms. All three load on page view and set cookies. When you submit the subscribe form, a hashed form of your email address may be sent to Meta and Reddit so they can attribute your subscription to the ad that brought you here. You can opt out via your browser's privacy settings or a tracker-blocking extension.

We also use [Cloudflare Turnstile](https://developers.cloudflare.com/turnstile/) to block spam submissions on the subscribe form. Turnstile is privacy-first by design. No user profiling, no tracking across sites.

## Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

If you're in the EU, UK, or California, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you, and the right to opt out of any further contact. Email [danny@therenthacker.com](mailto:danny@therenthacker.com) and we'll handle your request within seven days. No forms, no hoops.

## Not investment advice

The board and the weekly email are research, not a recommendation. Every number we publish is a cautious estimate backed by documented comps and stated conventions. We show our assumptions and sensitivities so you can run your own due diligence. Nothing in the report is a recommendation to buy, sell, or borrow. Do your own homework.
